🤝 The Partners Section
Connect your business with nonprofits, Rotary clubs, districts, and community causes
The Partners section is where your business builds relationships with causes and nonprofits inside Our Mayberry. Partnering with a cause allows your business to appear in their directory, support their fundraisers, and promote your offers directly to their supporters.
This is one of the most powerful features of the platform — because partnerships give your business visibility, credibility, and a meaningful way to give back.
Here’s how it works.
1. What a Partnership Means
When you partner with a nonprofit, Rotary club, foundation, or community organization:
Your business becomes part of their Impact Marketplace, which means:
- Your offers appear in their directory
- Your products and services are promoted to their supporters
- Any gift cards you create automatically appear in their Marketplace’s Gift Card Section
- Your business is visible to their entire community
- Supporters of the cause can select your business when making purchases or contributions
Partnerships help you:
- Increase exposure
- Build trust
- Drive more sales
- Grow your impact
- Connect with the community
2. Viewing Your Current Partnerships
On the Partners page, each partnership appears as a card that includes:
- The name of the cause
- Number of supporters engaging through that Marketplace
- Number of partners (businesses) also participating
- Start date
- Your total sales with that Marketplace
- Your total contributions generated for that cause
You can see at a glance how each partnership is performing.
If needed, you can also remove a partnership using the “Delete” option.
3. Sending a Partnership Request
To partner with a cause:
- Click the green + Send New Request button.
- Search for a nonprofit, Rotary club, foundation, district, or community group.
- Click to send a partnership request.
The organization will receive a notification and can either accept or decline the request.
Once they accept:
- Your business is officially partnered
- Your profile appears in their directory
- Your offers appear in their Marketplace
- Your gift cards appear in their Gift Card section
- Their supporters can begin choosing your offers
- Any contributions associated with your activity will be credited to that organization
4. Receiving Partnership Requests (My Invitations)
Partnership works both ways.
Nonprofits and causes can also send you a request to partner.
When this happens:
- You’ll see a notification.
- Click the My Invitation(s) button at the top of the Partners page.
- Review the organization requesting a partnership.
- Accept or decline.
When you accept:
The same benefits apply — your offers, services, and gift cards will appear in that organization’s Marketplace to help support their fundraising.
5. What Each Partnership Card Shows
Each listing on your Partners page provides real performance insights:
- Supporters — how many supporters of that organization are active in the Marketplace
- Partners — how many businesses are participating
- Total Sales — your business’s sales generated for that Marketplace
- Contributed — how much your business has contributed through sales, QR code payments, and invoices
This helps you understand which causes your customers prefer and which partnerships are creating the most shared value.
6. Removing a Partnership
If you no longer wish to participate with a specific cause:
- Click Delete on that partnership card.
- The cause will be notified.
- Your offers will be removed from their directory and Marketplace.
You can reconnect later at any time.
7. Why Partnerships Matter
Partnerships are the heart of the Impact Marketplace.
When you partner with a cause:
- They help promote your business
- You help them raise funds
- Their supporters discover and support you
- You create measurable impact
- Everyone wins
It’s a simple, powerful way to integrate community good directly into your business strategy.
