📦 The Shipping Section
Manage and confirm shipments for online customer orders.
The Shipping section is where you manage all products that customers have purchased online and selected for shipping.
Whenever someone buys an item from your Offers page and chooses “Eligible for Shipping,” that item will appear here for fulfillment.
This section helps you:
- Track which orders still need to be shipped
- Mark items as shipped once they’ve been sent
- Automatically notify customers when their order is on the way
It keeps your online order fulfillment simple, organized, and fully transparent for your customers.
1. What Appears in the Shipping Section
When a customer completes an online purchase for an item that is marked Eligible for Shipping, the system automatically:
- Adds the order to the Shipping queue
- Displays all relevant details for fulfillment
You will see:
- Customer name
- Customer email
- Product purchased
- Purchase date
- Fundraiser supported (if applicable)
- Contribution generated
- Any additional notes required for shipment (SKU, quantity, etc.)
This view helps you clearly understand what needs to be shipped and to whom.
2. How to Ship an Item
When you’re ready to fulfill an order:
- Locate the item in the Shipping list
- Verify the order details
- Click the “Mark as Shipped” or “Shipped” confirmation button
Once you confirm the shipment:
- The item is removed from the active Shipping queue
- The customer automatically receives a shipment notification letting them know their item is on the way
- The transaction updates in your Reports section
- Contribution reporting remains intact
This process closes the loop between purchase and delivery while keeping your customers informed.
3. Customer Notification
After you confirm shipment, the customer receives an automatic message stating:
- Their order has been shipped
- The item is on its way
(If your business uses tracking numbers, you may choose to include them separately outside the system.)
This helps ensure great customer service and eliminates the need for manual follow-ups.
